Il Festival

Dedicato alla “musica concentrazionaria” – composta dai deportati nei campi di concentramento e nei ghetti nazisti -, alla “musica degenerata” – la musica proibita nella Germania nazista e nell’Italia fascista perché considerata decadente, dannosa e contraria ai canoni razziali imposti dai due regimi – ed infine alla “musica dell’esilio” – scritta da quei compositori che sono stati costretti ad abbandonare l’Europa perché perseguitati.

Das Viktor Ullmann Festival ist ein Festival, das der Musik in den Konzentrationslagern, der Entarteten Musik und der Exilmusik gewidmet ist. Bei der Musik in Konzentrationslagern handelt es sich um Musik, die von deportierten Komponisten in Konzentrationslagern und Gettos komponiert wurde. Die Entartete Musik wurde vom Nationalsozialismus in Deutschland und vom Faschismus in Italien als jene bezeichnet, weil sie nicht der Ideologie beider Regime entsprach und deshalb als dekadent und schädlich betrachtet wurde. Die Exilmusik wurde von Komponisten komponiert, die verfolgt wurden und Europa verlassen mussten.

Dedicated to the “concentration music” – composed by the deportees in the concentration camps or in the Nazi’s ghetto – to the “degenerated music” – the music that was forbidden in the Nazi Germany and in the Fascist Italy because it was considered decadent, damaging and adverse to the racial rules imposed by the two regimes – and finally the “music of exile” – written by those composers who were forced to leave Europe for persecution.

Posvečen “koncentracijski glasbi”, ki so jo ustvarjali deportiranci v koncentraciskih taborišćih in v nacističnih getih; posvečen “degenerirani glasbi “, to je glasbi, ki je bila prepovedana v nacistični Nemčiji in fašistični Italiji, v kolikor smatrana kot dekadentna, škodljiva in nasprotna rasnim pravilom, ki so jih vsiljevali režimi na oblasti; in, za zaključek posvečen “glasbi izgnanstva”, oziroma tisti glasbi, ki so jo ustvarjali skladatelji ki so bili prisiljeni zapustiti Evropo, v kolikor preganjani.
